Looking for inspiration

Im surprised with myself , only a few days after my original post and im back on here with something good to report! I have looked at two photographers websites that i am a fan of , and ive looked at them to try and get an idea for what i would like my site to look like

The above site is the main Photography page for Tim Walker, I have been a big fan of his work since i found his storyteller project. I admire his site for it openess , clear display and how easy it is to see his other pieces of work. The other site that i looked at is from jerry ghionis , A internationally known wedding photographer , i was pointed in the direction of wedding photographers because i am currently planning my own wedding and i wanted to have a look at the type of photography i would like to see at my wedding. the first image is the front page for him , it has the four main types of photography that he has gained acclaim for. i thought it would be best to show the gallery view so that i know the difference between the first page and the gallery aspect , i like the black with white blocks aspect , i feel that is it too fancy for my kind of website , it is afterall my first one so im still trying to get the right style for my site.
